Karen Krasnigor

Karen M. (Breen) Krasnigor, 89, of Callawassie Island, S.C. passed away on July 27, 2026. She was the beloved wife of 67 years to Richard A. Krasnigor, the loving mother of Keith, Scott, Brian, and Tanya, the Nana to 13 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

She was an avid golfer, reader, and enjoyed kayaking in the low country. But what she enjoyed most were visits by grandchildren, who helped her bake their favorite cookies.

She was born in Brockton, Massachusetts and is survived by her husband Richard, her children, Keith (Maria), Scott (Pamela), Brian (Christy), and Tanya (Sean Sullivan). Also her grandchildren, Kelsey (Jennifer), Dillon (Jessica), Joe (Maggie) Catalano, Jamie Catalano, Sonia, Tyler, Wylee, Zachary, Alexandra, Nicholas, Sam, Jack, and Chloe.

Also her great grandchildren, Oliver, Maisie, Quinn, Emma, Clara, and James. Also her sisters, Linda (Francis Santry) and Diane

Breen. She was pre-deceased by her parents, David and Corinne Breen and her brothers David and Peter.
