Katherine J. "Dunnie" Rogers

Katherine J. “Dunnie” Rogers, 81 of Bluffton, SC passed away on Monday, July 11, 2016 at Coastal Carolina Hospital, Hardeeville, SC.

Dunnie was born in Henderson, KY on June 4, 1935 to the late William Stewart Jr. and Hazel Morgan Stewart.

She was a graduate of Barrett High School, Class of 1953 in Henderson, KY and retired Executive Secretary of ATO Corporation. Dunnie was a strong Christian woman who lived out the Gospel of her Savior Jesus Christ. Honor, Loyalty and Generosity best described her character and lovable personality.

Dunnie is survived by her former husband, Larry E. Rogers of Bluffton, SC; her sons, L. Alan Rogers (Christine) of Bluffton, SC and Russell E. Rogers (Shari) of Louisville, KY; her daughter, Julie Ann Johnston (Kyle) of Riddleton, TN; her grandchildren, Jana Leigh Linger (Brandon), Jon Lawrence (Holly), Amanda Kaye Ganelli, Parker Alexander (Maggie), Brittani Christine, Katherine Ann Dobbins (Jared), Larry Eugene II (Karly), and Alexander James; her great grandchildren, Joy Anna Lynn, Logan Bryan, Addalyne Mae, Boone Lawrence, Jack Ernest, Landon Kyle, Mabel Claire, Cora Lee. Dunnie was predeceased by her brother, Kenneth Stewart.

We will miss you Ma and look forward to seeing you in Heaven with our Lord Jesus.

The family will receive friends beginning at 11:00 am until the service at 1:00 pm, Saturday, July 16, 2016 at Cornerstone Baptist Church, 7 Cornerstone Ln, Carthage, TN 37030. A burial will follow the service at the family farm.
