Katherine Hackett (Katie) Courtemanche

Katherine (Katie) Eileen Hackett Courtemanche, 48, of Bluffton, SC passed away at her home.She was born in Peoria, IL on May 9, 1963. She was the daughter of Dr. John and Mary Anne Long Hackett. She was a homemaker and graduate of Benet Academy of Lisle, IL and University of Dayton, Ohio. She was a former manager of RACE Construction. She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond E. Courtemanche. She is survived by her father and mother, Dr. John N. Hackett and Mary Anne Long Hackett of La Grange, IL; two sons, John (Kim) Michael Courtemanche of Clinton, SC and Lucas Raymond Courtemanche of La Grange, IL; two brothers, John (Colleen) Hackett of Western Springs, IL and Matthew (Shelly) Hackett of Raleigh, NC; two sisters, Margaret (Joe) Gustafson of Charlotte, NC and Rosemary Hackett of Chicago, IL; two grandchildren, Aiden and Taylor Courtemanche, and many nieces and nephews. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church, 333 Fording Island Rd. Bluffton, SC, at 2:30 pm on Tuesday, January 31, 2012. The family will receive friends at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church at 1:30 pm on Tuesday, January 31, 2012.Sauls Funeral Home is assisting the family with their arrangements.
