Kathleen Hawk Cumberledge

Kathleen Hawk Cumberledge, 84, of Bluffton, SC and wife of Carl Robert Cumberledge passed away on Monday, December 21, 2009 at the Hilton Head Medical Center, Hilton Head Island, SC.She was born in Parkersburg, West Virginia on December 17, 1925. She was the daughter of the late Clate and Janie Lee Parrish Hawk. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Bible Baptist Church, Hilton Head Island, SC. She enjoyed golf and tennis and oil and water colors and gardening.She is survived by her husband, Carl R. Cumberledge of Bluffton, SC; two sons, Michael (Deborah) Cumberledge of Charleston, West Virginia and Mark A. Cumberledge of Bluffton, SC; two daughters, Linda Cumberledge of AlisaViejo, CA and Rebekah (David) Hesson of Morgantown, West Virginia; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was predeceased by one son, Robert L. Cumberledge.Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday, December 24, 2009 at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Rd., Bluffton, SC.
