Kathleen Carroll Hogan

Kathleen Carroll Hogan passed away suddenly at home on April 10, 2021, after a battle with Alzheimer's. A loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Kathy is survived by her husband James Hogan; her daughter and son-in-law, Kerrianne Hogan Cherry and Steven Cherry; her grandchildren, Madison Cherry, Mackenzie Cherry, Caden Cherry, and Cooper Cherry; her siblings, Patricia Carroll Parsons and Joseph Carroll; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Kathy was born in Brooklyn, NY, on July 27, 1947 and grew up in Bayside, Queens, NY.  She married her husband Jim on October 28, 1967. She started working in a bank as a Teller, working her way up to Vice President for National Westminster Bank, where she managed several branches and was a Business Development Officer. Kathy and Jim eventually moved to the Atlanta area, where she continued working in banking before retiring to enjoy time with her grandchildren. In 2004 Kathy and Jim retired to Sun City, South Carolina.

Kathy loved life and was the kind of person you like immediately upon meeting. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

There will be a visitation at Sauls Funeral Home in Bluffton, SC from 3-5 PM April 19, 2021.  Masks and social distancing are required. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to Alzheimer's Association.
