Kathleen C. Martin

Kathleen C. Martin, 96, of Hilton Head Island, SC and formerly of Sun Valley, Glen Burnie, MD died Sunday, March 22, 2015 at her home. Mrs. Martin was born on June 6, 1918 in Washington, DC, the oldest of 13 children of Lester Coon and Madge Eddy Coon. She was preceded in death by her husband, William D. Martin, Jr. She is survived by her daughters, Linda Martin of Hilton Head Island, SC and Barbara Davidson (Donald) of Huntingtown, MD; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. A private burial will take place at Columbia Gardens in Virginia. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Macular Degeneration Foundation or the American Lung Association.
