Kathryn Diane Cowan

Kathryn Diane Cowan, age 72, passed away 3:00 am, Thursday, June 25, 2020 at Pruitt Health Center in Walterboro, South Carolina.

She was born to Kenneth David Brown and Kathryn Joyce (nee Cowan) Brown on October 5, 1947 in Michigan and grew up in Chester, Illinois with her Mother and loving step-Father.James Milligan. She was a member of the Methodist Church and having accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior and Lord, she was then baptized.

Kathryn leaves three sisters: Carol Harvey (Nick) from Seymour, Tennessee, Jean Mcclory from West Palm Beach, Florida and Angela Lloyd (Michael) from Orlando, Florida. She also leaves her dear Aunt Barbara Olendorf, husband, Bill and family who live locally plus various Aunts, Uncles, Cousins from Illinois.

Kathryn lived in New York City, New York for a number of years working in conjunction with the New York Stock Exchange. While married to her former husband, Ron Caraway, she served as Executive Administrator to the CEO of a Major Chemical Company in northern Illinois. Having moved to southern Florida in 1980 she was Administrative Assistant to a Major Real Estate CEO.

Kathryn loved swimming and water sports. She also enjoyed traveling abroad to Europe, the Orient and Israel. She was a dog lover and enjoyed the many pets she had over the years, most especially her sweet schnauzer, Percy.

A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 pm, Saturday, July 11, 2020 at Sauls Funeral Home Chapel, 310 West Adams Street Ridgeland, South Carolina. Visitation will be held at Sauls Chapel from 2:00 pm until the time of the service.

Rev. James Gibson of Holy Trinity Church will officiate. Music will be by Tim Malchak.
