Katie Brown Maxwell

Katie Brown Maxwell, 48, died peacefully at her home in Bluffton, SC on September 12, 2020. Katie is survived by her beloved husband, Mark; her two incredible children, Evan and Sophie; her parents, Bob and Chickie Brown; and sister, Kerry Brown Buckley (Clay).

Born April 17, 1972, Katie lived her life to the fullest and was much more than herself in very special, remarkable ways. She used each day as a chance to teach, inspire, and love every human and animal spirit she touched along her journey.

Katie was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend, coach, and warrior. We are the lucky ones. She will be missed but never forgotten.

The family will be welcoming visitors at Six Oaks Cemetery in Sea Pines, Hilton Head Island, SC between noon and 2 PM on Saturday 19, 2020. We will be practicing COVID-19 protocols to ensure the health and safety of our loved ones.
