Kay Louise (Sutton) Mccarthy

Kay Louise (Sutton) McCarthy, of Bluffton, SC, passed away on May 23, 2024.

Kay was born June 10, 1943 in Meadville, PA and was the youngest daughter of Ted and Margaretta Sutton. She was a graduate of St. Agatha Catholic High School, and on May 1, 1965, married Earle McCarthy—the love of her life. She was a devoted mother to her two children, Shanon (Swavey) and Brian.

She was employed as the office manager at Bush Investment Group. She enjoyed playing cards with friends and tending to her flower garden.

She leaves behind her loving husband, her beautiful daughter (son-in-law Brian), and her beloved granddaughters: Maddy, Kyla, and Ava.  She is also survived by her brother, Ted, and sister, Jane. She was preceded in death by her parents and son.

Her family and friends will forever cherish the memories they shared together.  In lieu of giving flowers, please plant one and think of her.  There are no plans for a service at this time.
