Keith Edward Kudla

Keith E Kudla, 77, passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at the Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center in Jacksonville, FL.  He is survived by his daughter, Kristin; his son Jason and his wife Jennifer; 2 granddaughters, Mckenzie and Jordan; and 2 great-grandchildren, Elijah and Aria.  His wife of 53 years, Jan, predeceased him.

Born in Passaic and raised in East Patterson, Keith lived in NJ for over 60 years before relocating to Sun City in Bluffton, SC.  Keith attended Norwich University, Class of ‘68, and remained an active alumni throughout the years, serving as class agent and planning class reunions. Yearly visits back to Norwich were always a highlight.

Keith served our country as a part of the US Army for 35 years.  He did one tour of Vietnam and then served in the Reserves in various roles until he made Colonel.

Outside of the military, Keith enjoyed fishing, traveling with Jan and friends, and watching football and NASCAR.   After moving to Sun City, Keith fully embraced retirement.  He participated in many of the activities available and became a staple at the pool, walking and socializing daily.  He also enjoyed going out to meals and concerts with the many friends he made.

Keith was laid to rest with full military honors at Beaufort National Cemetery in a private ceremony.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Keith’s name to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
