Kenneth Cleveland Cain

Kenneth Cleveland Cain, age 71, of St. Helena, SC, passed away on November 1, 2015 at Beaufort Memorial Hospital. Kenneth was born on July 13, 1944 in Franklin, NH, the son of the late Homer Sanders and Dorothy DeBuc Cain. He was a retired Sergeant First Class of the United States Army, a Vietnam War veteran, and a former correctional officer for the state of Florida. He was Catholic. Kenneth is survived by his wife, Cecilia Cain of St. Helena, SC; sons Kenneth C. Cain, Jr. (Michelle) of Okatie, SC and Michael Vicente Cain of Lady's Island, SC; daughters Catherine Smith of St. Helena, SC, Gloria Hedgepeth (Steven) of Phoenix, AZ, Leah Hart of St. Helena, SC, and Kendra Cain of Davenport, FL; brothers Homer S. Cain (Patricia) of Ohio, Phillip Cain (Esther) of Conway, SC, and Eric D. Cain of Tilton, NH; sisters Catherine Polichronopoulos of Manchester, NH, Carla Stubbins of Concord, NH, and Ellen Dane of Manchester, NH; and ten grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at Beaufort National Cemetery, Beaufort, SC.
