Kenneth Reginald Cooler

Kenneth Reginald Cooler, age 70, of Ridgeland passed away on December 18, 2020.

Ken was born in Ridgeland, SC on September 29, 1950 to the late Everett Cooler and Dorothy Malphrus Cooler.

Ken was the owner of Island Fire Protection and founded his company in 1980. He was a member of the Ridgeland Ward The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  He was an avid deer hunter; Historian; collected arrowheads, shark teeth and coins.  He loved the fellowship of cooking crabs for his family and friends.

Ken is survived by his wife, Peggy Cannington Cooler; his daughter, Jennifer C. Tillman (Allen) of Ridgeland; his daughter in law, Isjeaneth Cooler of Tampa, FL; his brother, Rhett Cooler of Ridgeland; his sister, Penny Parot (Oren) of Atlanta, GA; his grandchildren, Jocelyn Tillman, William Tillman, Ben Tillman, Sarah Conley and Joel Everett Cooler and great grandchildren, Brailyn Ashcraft, Kendall Ashcraft and Grayson Ashcraft.  He was predeceased by his son, Kenneth Joel Cooler.

The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, December 22,2020 at the Sauls Funeral Home Pavilion, 500 W. Adams St., Ridgeland with the funeral service beginning at 2:00 pm.  Burial will follow in Ridgeland Cemetery.
