Kenyon Male

Retired Air Force Lt. Colonel Kenyon Male, 78, of Sun City died January 6 at Coastal Carolina Hospital. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Margaret Male, three children: Kenyon Male, Jr. of Davidsonville, MD, Karen Male-Snyder of Fulton, MD, Michael Male of Burke, VA and by six grandchildren: Courtney Male of Astoria, NY, Kenyon Male, III of Garden City, NY, Christopher Snyder of Fulton, MD, Margaret Snyder of Twenty-nine Palms, CA, Rachael Male and Riley Male of Burke, VA.Ken was born in Batavia, NY and graduated from Syracuse University before entering the Air Force as a Navigator in the Air Rescue Service. He was later employed as an auditor by the Dept. of Agriculture in Washington, D.C. and following that retirement became a partner in The Kids on the Block, an educational puppet company based in Columbia, MD. The final retirement came in 2003 with a move to South Carolina where he enjoyed an abundance of new friends and many new travel experiences.A funeral with full Military Honors will be held at Arlington National Cemetery when scheduling permits.
