Kerry Alan Hubbard

Kerry Alan Hubbard, 59, of Bluffton passed away February 23, 2023 at Hilton Head Medical Center.

Kerry was born September 25, 1963 to Herman and Virginia Hubbard. He was a skilled carpenter for many years. He was especially fond of the many stray cats that provided companionship, which was made possible through the local low-cost spay and neuter program.

He spent his entire adult life volunteering his time and money as a connoisseur of finer spirits. These circumstances did not allow him to pursue a career, matrimony, or any religious affiliation.

His greatest contribution to society was his lack of desire to have the privilege of a driver’s license and to operate a vehicle. Although his way of life could be a burden, he was loved by his family.

Surviving are his sisters, Shelly Strange (Jeff) of Cobbtown, GA, Cathy Lamb of Simpsonville, SC; brother, Bubba Hubbard of Bluffton; one niece and four nephews.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Sauls Funeral Home of Bluffton is assisting the family with arrangements.
