Kristin Elizabeth Guillory

Kristin Elizabeth Guillory, 60, beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away on October 20, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on April 11, 1966, in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, Kristin was the daughter of Robert K. Wichmann and Elizabeth A. Wichmann. She graduated from Tipton High School in Tipton, Indiana, before attending Purdue University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Restaurant, Hotel, Institutional, and Tourism Management. She later pursued her passion for design at the Art Institute of Dallas, earning a bachelor's degree in Interior Design.

Kristin built a successful career in interior design in Dallas, Texas, working as Design Manager at Freedom Design and later as Project Designer at Keaton Interiors. She took great pride in her work and retired in 2025.

Kristin adored her family and treasured the many friendships she made throughout her life and career. She had a love for art, enjoyed attending art shows, and loved playing the piano in her spare time. The Lowcountry held a special place in her heart, and she was excited to make South Carolina her home and be closer to the family she loved so dearly.

Kristin is survived by her mother, Elizabeth A. Wichmann; brother, Greg Wichmann (Marla); sisters, Lisa Cunningham and Laura Krug (Jim); nieces, Jacquie Cunningham, Michele Bratcher, Lauren Huver (Jake), and Kathleen Krug; nephews, Brad Wichmann (Kamie) and Ian Cunningham (Ije).

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert K. Wichmann, and sister-in-law, Annette Wichmann.

Kristin's life was filled with family, friendships, creativity, and a love for her animals. She will be remembered for the life she lived, the connections she made, and the love she shared. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends and forever cherished in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. A private service will be held with the immediate family to honor and celebrate Kristin’s life.
