L. Carl Bjorkman, Jr.

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Carl Bjorkman of Bluffton, SC and Manchester, CT.

Carl passed away peacefully with his wife, Rosemary, by his side on February 15, 2025. Carl will be remembered for being a true gentleman, an amazing husband, uncle, brother-in-law, son-in-law, and great friend to many.

A man true to his word, Carl worked for Local 35 in Hartford, CT for over 40 years before retiring to Sun City, where he played golf, and enjoyed many lunches with the ROMEO club and walks on the beach.

Carl was also a 32 year member of Alcoholics Anonymous, where he contributed his wisdom, dignity, and humility of the program.

Carl will be dearly missed.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm, Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Rd, Bluffton. The family will receive friends beginning at 2:00 pm until the time of the service at the funeral home.
