Laura Helen Messex

Laura Helen Messex, 88, of Bluffton, SC passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at Hospice of Charleston, Mt. Pleasant, SC.

Mrs. Messex was born October 12, 1928 in Hendersonville, NC to the late Mr. and Mrs. Fred Pulley. She was a homemaker and worked with her husband and son at Messex Service Center. She was a member of Indian Hill Baptist Church; enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her son, James R. Messex of Bluffton, SC, four grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Grady Messex and daughter, Susan Messex.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, February 2, 2017 at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Rd, Bluffton. Burial will follow at Bluffton Cemetery.
