Laura Cathryn Rubalcava

Aged to Perfection, Laura Catherine Campbell Rubalcava, a resident of Hampton Hall, Bluffton SC, passed away peacefully Monday, February 7th, 2022 at the age of 85. Laura had a zest for life. In golf, she was a 40+ handicap but, always known as a scratch shopper. Her favorite stores being, Nordstrom's Neiman Marcus. Her claims to fame in golf are the following: she drove the ball hole high on a Par 5, 490 yards at Pacific Golf and Country Club, she took first place in tournament in Morocco hosted by King Hassan II. She played golf so she could enjoy spending time with her devoted husband, they have been inseparable from the start. They worked together for over 30 years designing a niche market in the Billiard industry, from Leather Jackets, clothing, Ladies cue sticks, as well as custom designed pool tables.

She enjoyed getting together with her besties sharing love and laughter in addition, she loves to spoil her beloved Sophie. Laura was born in Allen County, Indiana April 27, 1936. Laura is survived by her husband of 40 years, Raoul Rubalcava, son Michael Repine, Fort Wayne IN., daughter Ledeen Hangen and her husband Gary also, two brothers, John Carlin (Debra), Fort Wayne IN, and David Gibson (Barbara), Fort Wayne IN.

A memorial service will be held at Sauls Funeral Home in Bluffton, SC on Wed, February 16th from 11:30-12:30. With the health and wellbeing of family and friends in mind Laura's memorial service will be private. Please leave your memories on her tribute wall.
