Lelia Gertrude Dean Mason, 88, widow of Wm. Ray Mason, passed away Sunday, April 18, 2010 at the Ridgeland Nursing Center, Ridgeland, SC.She was born on March 29, 1922 in Ridgeland, SC to the late Lucius Dean and Lillian Malphrus Dean.She was a homemaker. She loved attending church and working in her yard.She is survived by her son Maxie Mason of Ridgeland, SC; two daughters, Ida (Mike) Reed of Grays, SC; Gloria (Eddie) Davis of Ridgeland, SC; one brother, Vincent (Dorothy) Dean of Grays, SC; seven grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at Great Swamp Baptist Church in Ridgeland, SC with burial in the church cemetery. A visitation will be held from 6 til 8 pm, Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at Sauls Funeral Home, 310 W. Adams Ave., Ridgeland, SC 29936 Sauls Funeral Home of Ridgeland is assisting the family with their arrangements.
