Leonard J. Bibbo

Leonard J Bibbo, 91, of Somers, New York, and a 24-year resident of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, passed away on November 21, 2022 after a brief illness. He was born in The Bronx, N.Y. to Frank and Elvira Bibbo and is an alumnus of Manhattan College, New York. Leonard had a successful Civil Engineering business spanning 65 years. He enjoyed cooking, golfing, and telling jokes. Leonard is preceded in death by Yolanda, his wife of nearly 60 years. He is survived by his dear friend Rosemary Henry-Fortsch, his sister Annette Macdonald; daughters Elena and husband Dallas, Teresa and husband Frank, Marianne and husband Greg, sons Frank and wife Bonnie, Leonard Jr. and wife Michele, and Christopher and his wife Amanda. In addition, he has four granddaughters, three grandsons, and two great-grandchildren. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Hospice Care of the Lowcountry for their support in his final days. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice Care of the Lowcountry, P.O. Box 3827, Bluffton, SC 29910.  Funeral services will be held at St. Francis by the Sea Roman Catholic Church on 45 Beach City Road, Hilton Head, on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at l0:00 am.
