Leonard Raymond Wagoner Jr.

Leonard Raymond Wagoner Jr., 49, of Ridgeland passed away on September 24, 2023 at the Medical University of South Carolina, Charleston.

Mr. Wagoner was born in Darlington, SC on August 15, 1974 to the late Leonard Raymond Wagoner Sr. and Ruth Mae Nellis Wagoner.

Mr. Wagoner was employed by Sea Pines Plantation on Hilton Head Island for many years and was formerly employed by Walmart for 17 years.  He loved to fish in both fresh and saltwater.  He was a Baptist and devoted to his family and friends, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Crystal Crosby Wagoner, Ridgeland; three daughters, Heather Rea (Adam), Varnville, Megan Cooler (Jimmy), Ridgeland and Beverley Smith (Michael), Hampton; two brothers, Melvin Richards (Sheila), Coward and Kevin Broom (Mary Ann), Ridgeland; grandchildren, James Long, Cayden Long, Lacey Long, Abel Long and Shepherd Zamot; special friends, Denise Pinckney and Carla Acosta; several nieces, nephews and great and great great nieces and nephews.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 10:00 am until Noon on Thursday, September 28, 2023 at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Road, Bluffton.  A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 pm on Thursday, September 28, 2023 at the Ridgeland Advent Christian Church.
