Letty Adele Hill Harding left this earth on July 8, 2024, at the age of 90 at her home in Sun City Hilton Head, SC. Letty graduated from Central High School in Charlotte and Columbia Bible College in Columbia, SC. In 1956 she married Burt Harding and within five years was a busy mother to four children.

She has always had a passion for educating children and later earned a master’s degree in early childhood education and ESOL. She taught and directed preschools for many years in the greater Atlanta area. Since Letty was a young woman, she had a desire to be a missionary overseas. She supported foreign mission service in her local churches and later had the opportunity to teach in Ethiopia with Burt on an extended mission trip.
She is survived by her brother, Taylor MacFarland Hill, her children, Becky Harding Morton, Mary Lou Harding and Farley Harding, three grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Letty is preceded in death by the love of her life, Burton “Burt” Roux Harding, her son Burton “Roux” Harding, and her brother Joseph Curtis Hill.
