Linda W. Farmer

Linda W. Farmer, age 92, of Bluffton, SC died Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at Hilton Head Hospital.

Mrs. Farmer was born on September 11, 1926 in Adrian, GA, the daughter of the late William and Della Watson. She was a longtime member of Indian Hill Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school and bible school. She was considered a second mother to many children in the Bluffton area. The church was her life and she also enjoyed doing bible verse crossword puzzles.

Mrs. Farmer was preceded in death by her husband, Alton T. Farmer; and their sons, A. Herman Farmer and Ronnie Farmer. She is survived by her son, Donnie Farmer (Andrea) of Hilton Head Island, SC; daughters-in-law, Linda Farmer of Bluffton, SC and Lynn Cramer of Savannah, GA; sister, Ethelene Thomas of Savannah, GA; grandchildren, Shane, Lisa, Jennifer, and Erin; and great-grandchildren, Shane II, Jordan, Justin, and Camryn.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Rd., Bluffton.  Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at Bluffton Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the American Cancer Society.
