Linda C. Hagerty

Linda C. Hagerty, a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away suddenly on January 4, 2025, at the age of 75. Born in Canada on February 26, 1949, Linda moved to New Jersey as a child and spent much of her life in the region. She is survived by Gary, her devoted husband and best friend of 56 years. Together, they lived much of their marriage in Pennsylvania before retiring several years ago to South Carolina, where they enjoyed being close to the water and the warmer weather. Linda is survived by her daughters, Jennifer Hagerty and her husband Stephen Clunk, and their children Dane and Soren; and Jaime Hadfield and her husband Jeffrey Hadfield, and their children Jeffrey and Alyssa. She was incredibly proud of her children and grandchildren, and often spoke of the immense joy they brought to her life. She is also survived by her siblings, Michael and his wife Barbara, Ricky and his wife Sue, and Robin.

Linda enjoyed her and Gary’s retired life at the lake  She was involved in many activities including Mahjong and being part of the paddle group, where she spent time kayaking with her friends. She was known for her boundless compassion, bright smile, and the ability to bring people together. Her greatest joy in life was her family, and her legacy of love and devotion will continue to inspire all who knew her.

A visitation will be held on Friday, January 10, 2025, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Saul’s Funeral Home. All are welcome to join us in remembering Linda’s life and sharing cherished memories. Linda will be deeply missed but forever remembered by those whose lives she touched. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Linda’s memory to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
