Lisa Marie Mcmahon

Lisa Marie McMahon, 51, of Bluffton, SC died February 17, 2014 at Hilton Head Hospital. She was born on November 24, 1962 in Geneva, Alabama. "Mama Lisa" as her family and friends referred to her was the ultimate caregiver. She was a Registered Nurse and director of the memory care unit at NHC-Bluffton. She was an avid treasure hunter and enjoyed going to thrift store and shopping for antiques. She is survived by her husband, Shawn Patrick McMahon of Bluffton, SC; her parents, Freddie and Ginger Helton of Daleville, AL; 1 son, Jess Allen Patrick Vaughan of Columbus, OH; 1 daughter, Ginger Kara-Lyn Vaughan of Bluffton, SC; 4 brothers, Kenneth Gerald Helms (Valerie) of Clarksville, TN, James Gene Helton (Alisha) of Seattle, WA, Freddie Lee Helton (Jeri) of Aviano, Italy, and Russell Edward Helton of New Brockton, AL; sisters Lorita Shay Burris of Daleville, AL and Evie Beth Seaton (Curtis) of Round Rock, TX. A memorial service will be held at 2pm, Friday, February 21, 2014 at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Road, Bluffton, SC 29910. The family requests any memorial donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 4124 Clemson Blvd., Suite L, Anderson, SC 29621.
