Lois C. Goas

Lois C. Goas, age 86, of Bluffton, SC and formerly of Cincinnati, OH died Thursday, February 13, 2014. Mrs. Goas was born in Millville, NJ on September 15, 1927, the daughter of the late Archibold and Miriam Campbell. She was a resident of Sun City-Hilton Head and was active with the Women's Golf Association, the Canasta Club, and the Cancer Survivor Program. She was also a member of Sea Island Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Goas was a loving wife of 63 years and a partner in business for 20 years with the family business. She raised two children whom loved their mom for the support they were given as they made choices in life. As a wife and mom, she'll be missed. She is survived by her husband, James W. Goas; son, Kenneth James Goas and wife Annie; and daughter, Nancy Kay Meyer and husband John. A memorial service will be held at 11:30 AM, on the 25th day of February 2014, directed by Pastor Steve Keeler at the Callawassie Island Clubhouse in Okatie, SC. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Sea Island Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 966, Beaufort, SC 29901 or the Cancer Society. A memorial service will be held at 11:30 AM, on the 25th day of February 2014, directed by Pastor Steve Keeler at the Callawassie Island Clubhouse in Okatie, SC.
