Lona Mattox Smith was born April 23, 1937 to Leroy and Bertha Mattox.
She passed away peacefully on Monday August 29th with her family present. She is survived by her 3 children- David Smith (Sharon), Donald Smith (Suzan), and Brenda Smith. Also survived by 5 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Viewing is at Sauls funeral home in Ridgeland, SC from 4:00-6:00pm on Saturday, September 3. The burial will be in Charleston, SC at Live Oak Memorial Gardens at 2:00pm on Sunday, September 4th, with a graveside service.
