Loren Foster Bozarth

Loren Foster Bozarth, 74, of Bluffton, SC, passed away on Wednesday, February 25, 2026.

Loren was born on February 19, 1952, in Bloomington, IL, the son of Robert and Verle Bozarth.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 36 years, Debbie. He is also survived by his mother, Verle; sisters, Dee (Mark) David of Texas and Denise (Eric) Smith of Texas; and his brother, Douglas (Cheryl) Bozarth of Texas. Loren had a special place in his heart for his many cousins, nieces, and nephews, all of whom he loved dearly.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Foster Bozarth, and his brother, Randall Robert Bozarth.

A devoted Christian, his greatest joy came from sharing his faith with others and supporting ministries close to his heart. An avid reader, Loren delighted in sharing his love of books with his family. He enjoyed all types of music and was a lifelong sports fan.

Loren graduated from Bloomington High School and was a proud graduate and active alumnus of Christ For The Nations in Dallas, TX.

Visitation will be held at Sauls Funeral Home in Bluffton on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at 2:00 p.m followed by a celebration of life beginning at 3:00 p.m. Burial will follow at LowCountry Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Samaritan’s Purse and World Missions Advance in memory of Loren Foster Bozarth.
