Lori Annette Broome

Lori Annette Broome, age 53, of Bluffton, SC died Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at Hilton Head Hospital.

Mrs. Broome was born on October 10, 1965 in Rock Hill, SC. She was a 1983 graduate of H.E. McCracken School. Lori’s ambitious spirit allowed her to work in several fields during her career, including the Port Wentworth, GA Fire Department, working with Chatham County, and even some time as a bounty hunter. Her greatest joys were traveling, animals, caring for others, and most importantly, spending time with her nieces and nephews.

Lori was preceded in death by her father, Ernest J. “Country” Broome. She is survived by her mother, Virginia Ellis Broome; brothers, Robert Stephen Broome, Sr. (Debra), Ernest J. Broome, Jr., Michael Kevin Broome, and Russell Mason Broome; nieces and nephews, Robert S. Broome, Jr., Gregory S. Broome, Amy Elizabeth Broome, Christopher Allen Broome, John Kennan Broome, and Makayla Ruth Broome; great nephew, Jaxon Broome; and great niece, Zoe Kearse.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 28, 2019 at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Road, Bluffton, SC 29910. The family will be receiving friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
