Lori Wigal Mclain

Lori Wigal McLain, age 53, of Bluffton, SC died Saturday, August 4, 2018 at Memorial Medical Center in Savannah, GA. Lori was born on January 9, 1965 in Gainesville, FL, the daughter of Jean and Harold Wigal. She was a graduate of Garfield High School in Akron, OH. She began working with the Town of Bluffton in information technology and was currently serving as an Executive Office Manager. Outside of work she enjoyed boating, being on the water, vacationing in the Florida Keys, fishing, and SEC football. She loved the Maye River and living in Bluffton, but her greatest joy in life was her kids.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Jim McLain; children, Jamie McLain, Darby McLain, River McLain, Shane McLain (Angie), and Shannon Carocca (Joe); siblings, John Wigal (Agnes), Tommy Wigal, Victoria Carnahan (Dennis), George Wigal (Melanie), and Jana Faye Blocker (Joe); and grandchildren, Annabelle Carocca and Dylan McLain. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Palmetto State Bank, 194 Bluffton Road, Bluffton, SC 29910.
