Louis Alwin Pinderski

d. July 31, 2014

Today, July 31, 2014, was my time to die. Surely it was my turn as my 92nd birthday was just around the corner. I had always been OK with the thought of death since my wife had assured me that I'd continue to be in good hands. My attitude about living has always concerned me much more than my attitude towards dieing. Life was full of love, happiness and adventures. Well educated, adequately compensated for my working career, the highlight of it all was sharing nearly 54 years with Ida, my beautiful amazing wife and best friend. Our four children, their spouses and seven grandchildren have their feet planted firmly on the ground, enormous hearts, fine minds, and are all making a contribution to the betterment of our planet. I leave well satisfied with living for approximately 33,477 days. I've helped others where I could, explored the sky in my plane, and navigated the oceans for ten years during and after WWII as a Merchant Marine officer. My family and I played, camped, hiked and sailed around Lake Michigan for decades. As my children became adults, we remained close. The very best of life centered on Ida, friends and family, family, family. The Pinderski family truly appreciates your love, prayers and support. We will have a memorial service in Michigan in special remembrance of Lou at the appropriate time. God bless.
