Louise J Lathrop

Louise J. Lathrop, 93, of Bluffton, SC passed away Monday, September 16, 2019 at her home.

Louise was born February 7, 1926 in Wilmantic, CT to the late Joseph Visintini and Mary Guay Visintini. She was a Christian. Along with her husband, Clinton Lathrop, who passed away in 2014, Louise operated Lathrop Family Farm in Baltic, CT for many years. They were also owners of Salt Rock Campground in Baltic, CT. After retirement, they traveled extensively in the United States.

Louise is survived by her son, DeWitt Lathrop (Jean) of Bluffton, SC; daughters, Cheryl L. McKenna (Jim) of Hilton Head, SC and Cynthia Lathrop of Bluffton, SC; sisters, Margaret Dennetty of RI, Yolanda Gardner of RI, and Joanne Nasin of CT; grandchildren, Shannon Patnoad, Sarah Lathrop, Branden McKenna, Meaghan Handwerker, and Bre-Anne Brandt; and great-grandchildren, Declan Handwerker, Jake Handwerker, Josh Brandt, McKenna Brandt, Cole Patnoad, and Eva Patnoad. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Joseph Visintini and Paul Visintini and her sister, Viola Waitte.
