Louise Mary Macdonald Spiers

Louise Mary MacDonald Spiers of Bluffton, SC, formerly of Lexington and Mashpee, MA passed away as the result of an accident on Friday, August 21, 2009.Louise was born in Somerville, MA on October 20, 1941. She was the daughter of the late Donald and Louise Vecchierello MacDonald.Louise was a unique, kind, thoughtful woman who was well known and much loved for her great hugs, and for always sending an appropriate card on an important date.Louise is survived by her husband of 49 years and 8 days, Richard E. Spiers of Bluffton, SC; her children, Richard E. Jr. and his wife, Kimberly of Louisville, KY, Michael J. and his wife, Cynthia of Concord; Michele Louise Spiers Whiting and the late Davidson G. Whiting of Lexington; five grandchildren, Stephen A. Spiers 2nd, Samantha Louise, Sophie P., Cecilia M. and Lydia H. Spiers; her brothers, Gene MacDonald and his wife, Grace of Richmond, VA, Donald J. MacDonald and his wife, Nancy of Danvers, James R. MacDonald and his wife, Alice of Salem, NH and Nancy J. (MacDonald) McArdle and her husband, Buzz of Bluffton, SC and West Harwich, MA.Funeral Services will be held in Lexington, MA on August 29, 2009.
