Louvenia Mervin

Louvenia Mervin, 86, of the Mitchellville community, died Friday, March 13, 2015 in the Ridgeland Nursing Center in Ridgeland, S.C. She was born on August 19, 1928 in Ridgeland, SC. She was a Professional Housekeeper previously employed by Wiley and Cecile McTeer, Oscar and Cleo Daley, Dr. John and Ellen Langford, Dan and Margaret Horton and Jimmy and Melinda Rhodes. She was a member of New Zion Baptist Church. She is survived by a niece and several cousins and was preceded in death by her siblings, James Mervin, Sam Mervin, Dan Mervin and her sister, Comesy Mervin.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at New Zion Baptist Church in Mitchellville with burial in Haphazard Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until the hour of service at the church.
