Loy Thomas "Tommy" Johnson

Loy Thomas Johnson (Tommy Johnson), of Ridgeland, SC passed away on Sunday March 13th, 2023 at his home after a year long battle with cancer. He was born March 18th, 1959 in Monroe, Louisiana.

After growing up in a Louisiana he later moved to South Carolina in 1987 where he worked alongside his brother Joey Johnson framing houses. Tommy was a hard worker and loyal friend. In his free time he could be found drinking a cold one with his close friends and watching Saints football. Those who knew him knew he was a devoted Saints fan and often referred to him as ‘Who Dat’. In the off season he enjoyed cooking for friends and family.

Tommy will be forever cherished and loved by his family and friends. He led a fulfilling life and will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasuring of knowing him.

The family will hold a celebration of life on Friday March 24th, 2023 at Sauls Funeral home in Ridgeland from 5-7pm.
