Luce Bilodeau Ammons

Born in St. Clotilde, Beauce, Province de Quebec Canada - the youngest and 6th child of Francois and Francine Bilodeau.

In 1961 her parents moved the entire family to Jacksonville Florida where she grew up with her siblings attending the local schools.  She graduated from Ed White High School and started working at an early age.

She met her late husband Karl Ammons and married in 1986.  They adopted 5 children, Melissa, Kirby, Nicole, Grayson and Morgan.

Luce held positions at Blue Cross/Blue Shield and the Jacksonville Hilton Hotel.  Luce and Karl had an antique photographic business Island Images of the Caribbean in Key West, FL as they raised their children. They returned to the mainland and resided in Bluffton, SC where she was the Director of Villa Operations for The Westin Hilton Head Island Resort & Spa.

Luce is survived by her children, Melissa, Kirby, Nicole (Eric), Grayson and Morgan, her mother, Francine Bilodeau Hunter, brother Marquis Bilodeau (Diane), Carolle Williams, Louiselle King, Lynn Bramlett and JoAnne Hardcastle (Patrick).  Grandchildren Matthew, Andrew, Luke, John Paul Smith and Tommy Geiger.
