Lula Lee Wynn Cooler

Lula Lee Wynn Cooler, 90, widow of James Breland Cooler of Beaufort, SC died on Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at Bayview Manor in Beaufort, SC.Mrs. Cooler was born in Varnville, SC on December 24, 1920 to the late Miles Albert Wynn and Minnie Lee Tuten. Mrs. Cooler was a graduate of Varnville High School on May 26, 1939 where she played basketball. She married James Breland Cooler on June 3, 1939. Mrs. Cooler was a member of The Baptist Church of Beaufort for many years after moving to Beaufort in 1947. She was a proud mother, grandmother and great grandmother who considered her family to be her legacy and dedicated her life to them. She is survived by her three sons; Bobby D. Cooler, James A. Cooler and Lamarr B. Cooler of Beaufort, SC; one daughter, D. Leigh Cooler of Colorado; her four grandchildren, Melissa, Bobby Dean, Tony and Laurie and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her sister, Florence; two brothers, William Wynn and Jake Wynn and her grandson, James Wayne Cooler.Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, December 17, 2011 at Maye River Baptist Church Cemetery in Bluffton, SC.
