Lyle H. Rockefeller

Lyle H. Rockefeller, 64, went to be with his Lord and Savior on December 2 at his home in Sun City, after a 9-month battle with cancer. He was known for his broadcasting voice, sense of humor, and love for his family. Lyle was a long-time resident of Colorado Springs, Colorado until he and his wife retired to South Carolina. He graduated from Colorado State University - Pueblo, where he majored in broadcasting. He was very active in his church and amateur radio clubs. He loved the Lord and his family with all his heart. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Kathy; sons, Mark and Matthew; 3 grandchildren; sister, Jane Anderson; several nieces and nephews, and many friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Trinity Church, 40 Palmetto Bay Rd, Hilton Head Island, SC 29928. A celebration of life will be held at Trinity Church, 40 Palmetto Bay Rd, Hilton Head Island on Monday, December 8 at 1 PM.
