Margaret Anderson Ducey

Margaret Anderson Ducey, 87, of Ridgeland, SC died July 28, 2013 in Savannah, GA. She was born in Miley, South Carolina on January 9, 1926 the daughter of the late Monroe and Florence "Hap" Owens Anderson. She was an active member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church for over 50 years; a member of Sgt. Jasper Country Club of Ridgeland and a loving mother, and grandmother to 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Dr. Fred Ducey longtime veterinarian in Ridgeland and 1 brother, Clyde Anderson. She is survived by her 4 children, Freddie Ducey (Tonya) of Columbia, SC; Tommy Ducey (Jacqui) of New London, NC; Pat Ducey (Mary) of Naples, FL; Barbara Ann Weaver (Rufus) of Bluffton, SC and 1 brother, Owen Anderson; 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 am, Thursday, August 1, 2013 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Ridgeland with burial at The Ridgeland Cemetery. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the church. The family requests any memorial donations be made to Hospice House of Savannah, PO Box 13190, Savannah, GA 31416.
