Margaret Evans

Margaret Evans, age 101, of Bluffton, SC died Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at home. Mrs. Evans was born on April 10, 1916 in Philadelphia, PA, the daughter of the late Dominic and Catherine DeVece. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years, Harry Evans and daughter, Jean McGovern. She is survived by her daughter, Dee Felice (Gene); grandchildren, Steve McGovern, Diana Miller (Jeff), and Tony Felice; great-grandchildren, Frances Kirkley (Stephen), Daniel McGovern (Jancy), and Jessica Felice; and great great-grandchildren, Charlotte and Olivia Kirkley. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Monday, January 15, 2018 at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church, 31 St. Gregory Drive, Bluffton, SC 29909. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Friends of Caroline Hospice, 1110 13th Street, Port Royal, SC 29935.
