Margaret Josephine MacDonald, 106, widow of John MacDonald (retired NYPD), passed away on November 14, 2009 in the Life Care Center of Hilton Head, Hilton Head Island, SC.She was born on August 29, 1903 in Brooklyn, New York. She was the daughter of the late Francis and Mary White McBride.Margaret was a homemaker and the proud wife of a New York Policeman. During World War II, Margaret dedicated her service to our country as a Secretary in a New Jersey war plant that manufactured airplane parts while her husband and family remained in New York.
