Margean O. Baker

Margean O. Baker, age 85, passed away on September 23, 2022 at her home in Yemassee, SC.

Margean was born in Heard County, Georgia on March 10, 1937 and was predeceased by her parents, Jeff Barker and Eva Fincher Barker.

Margean was a homemaker who traveled extensively world wide with her husband, John S. Baker, retired US Army Master Sergeant.  She was a member of the Community Bible Church; enjoyed tending her garden, sewing, cooking and fishing with her husband.

In addition to her husband, Margean is survived by her son, John Gary Baker (Charline) of Beaufort; her daughter, Deborah Sewall (Dr. Charles) of Oak Ridge, TN; sisters, Clemmie Aikens of Statesboro, GA, Lenida Paschale of Virginia Beach, VA and June Rosini of Richmond, VA; her brother, Quinon Barker of Villa Rica, GA; six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 am on Monday, September 26, 2022 at Community Bible Church, Beaufort until the hour of the Funeral Service at 11:00 am.
