Marialyce J. Parker

Marialyce J. Parker, 92, of Bluffton, SC passed away Saturday, January 13, 2024 at her home.

Marialyce (Mari), was born February 24, 1931 in Chicago, IL to the late Martin Joseph Blanford and Alice Blanford. Mari was the middle child of nine. She is survived by two of her brothers, Robert and James Blanford. She worked as a bookkeeper in automotive dealerships for over 30 years.

Marialyce is survived by her daughter, Linda Hilts and her husband Barry, who she lived with for 42 years. She has 4 granddaughters - Kimbra Shelton and her husband Jason, Lisa Gorman and her husband, Gene, Dustine Doran, and Shannon Balco and her husband, Tom. Marialyce was blessed with 4 great grandchildren, Tyler and Josh Shelton, Cooper Gorman, and Alexa Balco of whom she was so proud to be their Nana.

The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm, Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Rd., Bluffton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or to The COPD Foundation, on her behalf.
