Marian C. BerryRidgeland, SCMarian Carter Berry, 84, passed away Thursday, May 14, 2009 at The Ridgeland Nursing Center in Ridgeland, SC. She was born in Varnville, SC on August 13, 1924 to the late Lewis Henry and Minnie Carter.She was a former Lunchroom Supervisor for Jasper County School System and taught Home Economics at Ridgeland High School. She was a member of Ridgeland Baptist Church.She is survived by her daughter, Pamela Rodgers of Ridgeland, SC and several nieces, nephews and cousins.Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm, Sunday, May 17, 2009 at Sauls Funeral Home Chapel, 310 W. Adams Street, Ridgeland, SC with burial in the Ridgeland Cemetery.
