Marian S. Green

Marian Green, 86, of Bluffton, passed away peacefully in her home, surrounded by her children, Bruce, Terrilyn, and Kellee. Marian was the wife of the late William C. Green Jr. and the daughter of Harold Salsbury and Frances Irwin.

Marian grew up in Erie, PA. She was the 1955 Miss Betty Crocker Homemaker of Tomorrow, worked for Westinghouse in Pittsburgh and later modelled clothing on the runway. She played a fantastic game of golf and was three three-putts away from shooting her age on her last round. She also loved painting, entertaining and interior design.

In addition to her three children, she is survived by grandchildren Nicole Mccarl, Laura Gilchrist, Matthew Crouch, Christina Crouch and a growing number of great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, October 23, 2023 at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Rd, Bluffton.
