Marie Maldonado Eschenbach

Marie Maldonado Eschenbach went to be with the lord on June 23, 2014. She was born February 4 1923, the only child of Restituta Maldonado Moore, and raised in Brooklyn, NY. Survivor of the Great Depression, she maintained an optimistic outlook on life and had an amazing ability to make anyone around her feel at ease. She was the cornerstone of her family; a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her beautiful smile and generous heart will be passed down for generations. Her passions were singing, dancing, and teaching art. She is preceded in death by a daughter, Debbie Smith, and leaves behind two daughters, Charmion Phillips of Bluffton S.C. and Roxanne Falls of Bedford, VA, as well as five grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and many loving cousins. She will be dearly missed by those of us left behind. Memorial services will be scheduled for a later date.
