Marie Lenore Kepner

Marie Lenore Kepner, 62, of Bluffton, SC died June 6, 2013 at The Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. She was born on May 14, 1951 in Decatur, Illinois the daughter of the late Jim and Margery Aikin. She was an artist and enjoyed paining in oils and watercolors, specializing in portraits. She was a talented pianist who enjoyed Jazz. She spoke 5 languages and taught foreign exchange students who were studying in the US. She was a Methodist. She is survived by her husband, Robert L. Kepner of Bluffton; daughters Nicole Deen (Geoff) of Winterville, NC; Lori Copeland (Alan) of Cumming, GA; and Kerri Kepner of Dublin, CA; brother Jim Aikin of Livermore, CA; and 3 grandchildren, Preston, Chase, & Morgan Copeland. A service will be held at 11am, Saturday, June 15, 2013 at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Road, Bluffton with burial at Lowcountry Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at 10am until the hour of the service.
