Marion Bolden Jenkins

Marion Bolden Jenkins, 87, of Savannah died on October 14, 2013 at Hospice Savannah. She was born on March 24, 1926 on Spring Island, SC the daughter of the late Johnny and Rina Bolden. She worked as a cook at the hospital. She is survived by her son, Harvey Douglas Jenkins, Jr. (Cheryl) and 16 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Douglas Jenkins Sr.; son Johnnie Bolden, daughter Christine Simmons, brothers Rufus and Ernest Bolden, and sisters Claretha Bolden, Magdalene Nelson, Susie Bolden, Liz Hamilton and Pigeon Bush. A visitation will be held Saturday, October 19, 2013 from 6-7pm at Sauls Funeral Home of Bluffton. A service will be held Monday, October 21, 2013 at St. Luke's Baptist Church with burial following at Lowbottom Cemetery in Ridgeland, SC. Sauls Funeral Home of Bluffton.
