Maris Robert (Bob) Lenhart

Maris Robert (Bob) Lenhart, 91, of Hilton Head Island, SC passed away on Monday, June 21, 2010 in the Hilton Head Medical Center, Hilton Head Island, SC.He was born in Spencer, Iowa on December 5, 1918. He was the son of the late Charles and Mary Hanes Lenhart.He was a machine gunner on a B-25 Bomber in the Pacific during World War II. He was an avid golfer and he was a Methodist.He is survived by his wife, Jackie Cartrette Lenhart of Hilton Head Island, SC; two brothers in law, Philip (Pat) Cartrette of Brandon, MS and Hart (Mariene) Cartrette of Lexington, SC; and one sister in law, Caroline Harvey of Greer, SC.Graveside Services will be held at the Beaufort National Cemetery, Beaufort, SC at 11:30 am on Tuesday, June 29, 2010.Sauls Funeral Home of Bluffton, SC is assisting the family with their arrangements.
