Marjorie Lois Smith Gamo, 71, of Ridgeland, SC passed away Friday, October 5, 2012 at Candler Hospital in Savannah, GAShe was born in Woodbridge, NJ on January 13, 1941 to the late John and Marjorie Lily Smith.She was an LPN for Lowcountry General Hospital for 27 years and Ridgeland Nursing Center for 10 years. She was a member of Great Swamp Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing, reading and gardening. She loved her family.She is survived by her son, Keith O. Gamo of Ridgeland, SC; daughter, Marjorie Louise Leonard, also of Ridgeland, SC and granddaughter, Marjorie Lindsey Leonard of Ridgeland, SC. She was preceded in death by her brother, Orrin Keifer Smith. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm on Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at Sauls Funeral Home Chapel in Ridgeland, SC with burial in Gillisonville Baptist Church Cemetery.
